This year, The Hague is the city of Escher (1898-1972)! In 2023 it is 125 years ago that this beloved and world-famous artist was born. Since Escher’s first big retrospective exhibition happened in this city and it still holds one of the biggest collections of Escher’s works, The Hague is certainly a beautiful place to celebrate this anniversary!
