Art inspires art

Our previous Home & Interiors: Antique Furniture & Design, Ceramics & Decorative Art online auction held a wonderful selection of glassware, including Roman glass jugs and bottles. A Roman iridescent glass jug caught the eye of Dutch artist Leo Pors, who bought it. The glass jug found its way into Pors’ newest artwork, a still life titled “Romeins glas en terra nigra”. We love it when art inspires a new artwork!
