A sneakpeek of the trial proof ‘Queen Beatrix’ from Andy Warhol’s series Reigning Queens from our Post-War & Contemporary Art auction from October 2023!

These iconic silkscreens from Queen Beatrix are very sought-after and appear regularly on the international art market. This edition is special since it concerns a trial proof. In a limited run of 30, Warhol experimented with various colour combinations and compositions, which makes each and every trial proof unique.

In October, Venduehuis The Hague will offer this unique edition of Queen Beatrix, with bright pink and neon orange, at auction. And stay tuned, in the upcoming months, we will present more silkscreens by Warhol which will be included in October’s auction.
