From 8 to 11 September next, we will organise our international art and antique auction, which was originally planned for May. Both catalogues for this auction can already be viewed online.
As from August 10th the printed catalogues will be available from the secretariat for €15,- each of €25,- for both.
You can participate in our live auction as follows:
· Online using your PC, laptop, tablet or handheld.
· By telephone starting at €500,-. For this we need your written request.
· Placing a commission bid in advance online or using a bid form at our premises.
· Live in person during the auction in the sales room. For this you need to collect a paddle from our reception staff before the auction starts.
We hope to welcome you during our viewing days. During the auction and during the viewing days, we will closely follow the RIVM's provisions regarding the corona virus.
Venduehuis The Hague is the only auction house in the Netherlands to distribute devices for all visitors entering our premises in order to keep sufficient social distancing. This device (called dongle) constantly measures the distance with other guests. If another dongle comes within the set distance limit, both devices will give a warning. As soon as the distance exceeds the distance limit, this warning will stop. A maximum number of dongles will be issued at the same time. If all dongles are being utilised, you will have to wait a while before you can enter the viewing rooms or the sales room.
To allow as many interested people as possible to visit our viewing days, we have increased the number of viewing days to 11 days. You are welcome from 28 August to 7 September, from Monday to Sunday between 10 am – 4 pm.
During our auction days, the number of seats in our auction room will be limited. In case all seats are occupied, you will beasked to wait until a seat becomes available. Bidding online or by telephone will ensure you of your participation during the auction. We will have a strict door entrance policy during viewing days and during the live auction.
To participate during our auctions you must be registered in advance. In case you have not yet registered with us before, we kindly ask you to take register well in advance.
As soon as the auction of the lot(s) you are interested in is closed, you can collect your purchases by appointment only using our online appointment tool. If you do not pick up your purchases yourself but authorise someone else to do so, please inform us in writing (via e-mail) beforehand.
