Expert’s Voice | A pair of Japanese cloisonné vases by Namikawa Sosuke

While showcasing these beautiful Japanese vases from the Meiji Period, expert Andrew Mattijssen explains the cloisonné technique used to create the superb decorations on these vases. Both vases are in excellent, undamaged condition and would be an outstanding addition to any art collection! Meiji Period (1868-1912), Japan

Two splendid cloisonné-decorated vases. Each vase featuring a night heron on a tree branch. Workshop of Namikawa Sosuke (1847-1910). H 33,5 cm (or 38,5 cm including wooden stand)
