Next Tuesday, September 17, it is the 3rd Tuesday of September, ‘Prinsjesdag’ in The Hague. The ceremonial driving tour with the Glass Carriage made by King Willem Alexander and Queen Máxima always attracts a lot of attention. A number of traffic measures are being taken for this driving tour. In the centre of The Hague, various roads are (partly) closed between approximately 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Temporary parking bans are also in force and the Heulveld, Tournooiveld and Pleingarage parking garages are closed between 10 AM – 3:00 PM.
Tram lines 1, 15, 16 and 17 and bus lines 22 and 24 temporarily run a different route.
The route is fenced off during the driving tour. Pedestrians are allowed to cross at certain marked places.
If you plan to visit the Venduehuis on Tuesday 17 September, please consider these traffic measures.
